Patient Reference Group (PRG)
Following the merger of our two sites in June 2016 – we are looking to combine both the Frimley Green and Ash Vale virtual Patient Reference Groups (vPRG) into a single group, going forward, this will help us to improve patient engagement across the whole of the Bartlett Group Practice and ensure that we adopt a more consistent approach to improving and developing services for all of our patients.
PRG activity prior to June 2016:
In February 2012 we established a “virtual” Patient Reference Group (PRG) in order to engage further with patients and in particular to gain valuable feedback about the services the surgery provides and to work with a group of patients to see how and where services might be improved.
We currently have 57 patients who have consented to be contacted by email and take part in the occasional on-line survey.
All communication is via a blind copy ‘BCC’ email with results and progress reports posted here on the website.

|A||No. It is pure to contact patients to ask them questions about this surgery and how well we are doing. Your doctor will only see the overall results.|

|A||General questions about the practice, how we are providing services and what we can do to improve them.|
|Q||Who else will be able to access the contact details?|
|A||No one beyond the practice.|

|A||Not very often. Initially to ask you to complete an online or paper survey and then to feedback the results.|
|Q||What is a patient reference group?|
|A||It is a group of volunteers who are involved in shaping the services to patients. For ease, this will be a “virtual” patient group. Patients will not need to attend meetings but will participate through email and on-line surveys.|
|Q||Do I have to take part?|
|A||No, but if you change your mind at any time, please let us know.|
|Q||What if I no longer wish to be on the contact list or leave the surgery?|
|A||We will ask you to let us know if you do not wish to receive further contact.|
